Turning Innovation into Action: Discover + Adopt Funding Awarded

The Brenda Strafford Foundation, with the support of CLIQ, has been selected as one of 26 healthcare and community care organizations across Canada to receive funding through the Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation (CABHI)’s Discover + Adopt Program.

The national funding initiative supports organizations in building the skills, infrastructure, and internal capacity required to successfully integrate innovative solutions into care environments. Through the program, participating organizations are positioned to adopt and scale technologies and approaches designed to enhance care delivery and improve outcomes for older adults and caregivers.

The Discover + Adopt program focuses on strengthening readiness within healthcare and community care organizations, ensuring that promising innovations can move beyond pilot phases and into sustainable practice. By supporting both innovators and care providers, the initiative aims to accelerate adoption while reducing implementation risk.

For The Brenda Strafford Foundation, participation in the cohort aligns with its broader mission to enhance quality of life for older adults through forward-thinking care models and partnerships.

The 2026 cohort brings together 26 organizations from across the country, reflecting a growing national momentum toward innovation in aging care.
